Seattle

We made it back from Seattle. We had so much fun. We got a late start on Sunday, but enjoyed our time driving up as mr. & mrs. We drove up with our “Just Married“ artwork on the car. It was fun. People kept waving. Sunday night after we arrived we had dinner at a waterfront restaurant that was called Cutters. Some of the best steamed clams and mussles I've ever had. Our hotel was amazing. It had an European touch. Valet parking, complimentary town car service and turn down service. It even had a posturepedic mattress. I want one so bad. I think I had more fun on monday than Shawn. We went to downtown and shopped til we dropped. I wish that we had more stores like Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware down here. At least they have catalogs! :-) We then had dinner at Sky City, the Space Needle Restaurant. Sooo good! It was gorgeous up there. There were no clouds so we could see forever. I really enjoyed that. We went to IKEA on our way home. I wish we had one. It is like the size of 5 Costcos. Amazing!! We even agreed on a new rug for our living room. A hard task until there. I wish we had more time up there. I'm glad to be home though. (Date should be 3/22/06)

We're Married!

I can't believe after all the planning it only lastest a few hours. I'm glad for pictures and video, because I can hardly remember anything and it was just yesterday. My family was such a help to me and I know that Shawn's family helped tons too. My biological parents got along so well it was scary. I really appreciate it because I did not need the stress of them bickering. I loved my dress so much that I hung out in it til 12am Sun. It was pretty comfy and so simple that it didn't drive me crazy. I was overwhelmed by the amount of people that came. It meant so much to Shawn & I. We are headed to Seattle today. I can't wait to get out of town. I love everyone, but also need a few days with just my new husband. (This post was from my old blog, and should be dated 3/19/06).
